Live cricket score India women 234/5 | Overs 47 | BATTING: Poonam Raut 24(32), Jhulan Goswami 4(4): India women finally registered a win in the 50-overs format in this tour after losing the first two matches. Indian skipper Mithali Raj led from the front with a captain’s knock of 89 runs off 113 balls. She was well supportd by opening batsman Mandhana who scored a brilliant half-century before getting dismissed.

She scored 12 runs before becoming Ellyse Perry’s frist victim of the day. Chasing Australia women’s 232, India women have not had a great start. HAving won the firts two ODIs, the hosts have already sealed the series, while they will look for whitewash the Indians, MIthali Raj’s girls will only play for pride and try and register at least one win in the 50-overs format.

She has picked three wickets so far in the game, and that had kept the opponents quiet in this match. It was her who brought Alex Blackwell’s innings to an end. Blackwell top-scored for Australia women with 60 runs in 64 balls. The other Australia women who became her victims were Ellyse Perry and Grace Harris.

TOSS: Australia win toss, elect to bat first

Australia women have won  the second ODI by six wickets of the three-match series against India women which was played at Bellerive Oval, Hobart. India women captain Mithali Raj won the toss and elected to bat first. India lost their first wicket in the form of Thirush Kamini on the very first ball of the match as Ellyse Perry got Kamini caught by Grace Harris for a duck. India then made a second wicket stand for 150 runs between Smriti Mandhana and Mithali.India faced an unexpected batting collapse as they lost their last five wickets which fell for just 58 runs. Perry took a three-wicket-haul while Megan Schutt scalped two batswomen. Kristen Beans and Rene Farrell also chipped in with a wicket each.
