Indians declared their innings at 341/6 at stumps on Day 2. The Indian batsmen put up a good show on Day 2 of their tour game against Derbyshire, with Cheteshwar Pujara and Stuart Binny scoring half-centuries. The Derbyshire bowlers were unable to get either batsman’s wicket, with Pujara retiring out and Binny remaining not out at the end of day’s play. Mahendra Singh Dhoni played an aggressive knock, before being bowled by David Wainwright. The Indian openers failed to get a good score, with both Shikhar Dhawan and Murali Vijay falling for 6 runs.
