Pune Warriors India need to score 156 to win against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) reached a defendable total in their Indian Premier League (IPL) match at the Subrata Roy Sahara Stadium on Saturday.

Ravindra Jadeja played a brilliant innings of 44 for CSK after a brisk start by the visitors in the sixteenth IPL match. However he was dismissed in the last over of the CSK innings by Ashish Nehra.

The big blow came when Faf du Plessis, who was looking strong, was dismissed by Rahul Sharma.

Plessis got stumped out after his fiery knock of 43 which included two sixes and five boundaries.

Murali Vijay was dismissed by Angelo Mathews after CSK started strong after he built a 43-run partnership with du Plessis.

Pune have made one change to their side, bringing in Murali Karthik in place of Manish Pandey.

Chennai have made two changes as they brought in Nuwan Kulasekara and Yo Mahesh in place of Doug Bollinger and Shadab Jakati.

PWI started the tournament on a positive note, notching up wins in their first two matches, till Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) disturbed the momentum.

CSK, on the other hand, have not been their usual self at the start, but the thrilling win over Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Thursday when they chased down 206, should come as a shot in the arm for the visitors.

Earlier CSK captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and chose to bat against Pune.

Brief Score: CSK 155 for 5 in 20 overs (Ravindra Jadeja 44, Faf du Plessis 43; Rahul Sharma 2 for 16, Ashok Dinda 1 for 30) vs PWI
