Hello and welcome to CricketCountry’s live coverage of ICC World Cricket League Division 2 match between Nepal and Namibia. This is Match 2 of the tournament and here we will bring to you all the live updates and the scores of the game. Canada and Oman topped the Division 3 league in 2017 that was hosted in Uganda. They have been directly promoted to the Division 2 league. Joining them in this tournament is the bottom four teams from 2015-17 World Cricket League — Kenya, Nepal, UAE and Namibia. The other matches being held alongside are Kenya vs UAE and Canada vs Oman.
Nepal will be lead by their regular skipper Paras Khadka. The team also includes Sandeep Lamichhane. All eyes will be on him, especially after the IPL 2018 auctions. Lamichhane was bought for INR 20 lakhs by Delhi Daredevils (DD). He became the first Nepal cricketer to play for IPL. This tournament will also pave the way for the top two teams to find their spot in the ICC World Cup Qualifiers 2018 that will be hosted in Zimbabwe.
