Hello and welcome to Cricket Country’s live coverage of the ICC World Cricket League 2015-17 match between Nepal and Papua New Guinea (PNG). The teams will face off in the 15th match of the ongoing ICC World Cricket League Championship 2015-17. The match will be classified as a List A game since both teams don’t have ODI status. PNG is one of the 16 ODI teams, but Nepal does not have the status. The match will be played at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. So far Nepal have played two games in the ICC WCL 2015-17 and have lost both as a result of which they are lingering at the bottom of the points table. Same is the case with PNG who are even below Nepal on the table owing to poorer Net Run Rate.

Live Cricket Score: PNG 235/8 | Overs 49.3 | BATSMEN: John Reva 15 (19), Norman Vanua 1 (1) | THAT’S IT!!!! PNG win a thriller by just a couple of wicket. TRENDING NOW

Both teams will be keen to win the game in order to get their act together and make their presence felt in the tournament. PNG’s last game in the tournament was against Netherlands and they ended up losing by a margin of 85 runs. In the other match against the same opposition, PNG encountered the same fate losing by five wickets in a rail-curtailed match on Duckworth/Lewis system. PNG’s batting seemed a little fragile on both occasions and Nepal will look to exploit that frailty. Nepal’s two matches against Scotland were disparate in terms of degree of defeat. In the first game Nepal were beaten agonisingly by three runs but in the second game Scotland did not even give them a sniff, beating them by nine wickets. It will be interesting to see what improvements the sides have made since their previous unsuccessful matches in the tournament.
