I am Ayush Gupta, and I will be bringing to you the live updates of today’s action. New Zealand are in a difficult situation, having lost four wickets in the second innings, while they still trail by 201 runs, as Australia look set to win this tie, with just four wickets required to win. New Zealand must come up with something special to save this Test. LIVE CRICKET SCORECARD: New Zealand vs Australia 2015-16, 1st Test at Wellington
Man of the Match: Adam Voges (Australia)
LIVE CRICKET SCORE: NZ 327. BATTING: Mark Craig 33 (64) — AUS WIN!!!! That’s it, as the final man in the form of Trent Boult falls for mere 12, as Mitchell Marsh bowls him up, while Australia put the final nail in the coffin, thus allowing them to register an inninga and 52 run win over the hosts, and going a game up in the two-match series. OUT! Trent Blout b Mitchell Marsh 12 (16)
LIVE CRICKET SCORE: NZ 301/9. BATTING: Mark Craig 20 (53), Trent Blout 0 (0) — GONE!!!! OUT! Tim Southee c Usman Khawaja b Natha Lyon 48 (23)
LIVE CRICKET SCORE: NZ 285/8. BATTING: Mark Craig 20 (52), Tim Southee 32 (18) — No harm done following the dismissal of Bracewell, as both the tpresent batsmen continue to battactically and make sure that they take the lead and provide New Zealand a faint chance to save the game.
LIVE CRICKET SCORE: NZ 242/8. BATTING: Mark Craig 10 (21), Tim Southee 0 (1) — GONE!!!! What a start to the post-lunch session as it’s Doug Bracewell, who falls for mere 14 to Josh Hazlewood after being trapped leg-before by him, while Tim Southee is the new man in. Just a couple of more wickets, and Australia are done.
OUT! Doug Bracewell lbw b Josh Hazlewood 14 (45)
LIVE CRICKET SCORE: NZ 241/7. BATTING: Doug Bracewell 14 (42), Mark Craig 9 (19) — LUNCH!!!! That’s it for this session as Australia once again finish the session on a high, claiming three crucial Kiwi wickets, while they still reel behind by three wicket to win this tie, whereas New Zealand are still 138 runs behind.
LIVE CRICKET SCORE: NZ 223/7. BATTING: Doug Bracewell 1 (16), Mark Craig 5 (2) — GONE!!!! It’s Henry Nicjolls, who goes for 59 after being bowled up by Jackson Bird. Nicholls, who was looking in good touch was proving to be a threat for the Aussies, but Bird knockking him out has more or less done the job for the Aussies as they look to get the reamaining three wickets.

LIVE CRICKET SCORE: NZ 193/5. BATTING: Henry Nicholls 43 (103), BJ Watling 2 (10) — GONE!!!! First wicket of the day falls in the form of Corey Anderson, who is trapped leg-before by Mitchell Marsh for an unfortunate duck, as the fifth wicket is down for the Kiwis, while BJ Watling makes his way in.
New Zealand ended Day 3 on a rather sour note with the skipper Brendon McCullum bowled out for 10 runs and Mitchell Marsh giving Australia the perfect end to Day 3 of 1st Test. New Zealand on stumps are 178/4 and are trailing by 201 runs. McCullum played some boundaries on Marsh spells only to face the way out of the ground in the third ball of 63rd over. Tom Latham scored a beautiful half-century uplifting New Zealand towards the trailing runs. Martin Guptill made 45 before he looked to hit Nathan Lyon out of the ground, but his footwork was lacking and a top edge was well taken by Mitchell Marsh who had to turn and complete the catch looking back over his shoulder. Guptill and Latham put up 81 run for first wicket and this was the best opening stand against Australia in 23 years. New Zealand crumble against Australia to reach 178-4 at stumps on Day 3, 1st Test
