Hello and Welcome to CricketCountry’s live coverage of New Zealand vs West Indies, 2nd semi-final of ICC Women’s World T20 2016 at Mumbai. I’m Paulami Chakraborty and I’ll be bringing you all the updates reagrding this match. The winner of this match will face Australia on April 3 at the iconic Eden Gardens in Kolkata. The Southern Stars went past the English side in the first semi-final on Wednesday at Delhi’s Feroz Shah Kotla. Same day, the Black Caps were knocked out of ICC World T20 2016 after England thrashed them by seven wickets. New Zealand still have hopes alive for a world T20 trophy with their women’s team, the White Ferns still in game. LIVE CRICKET SCORECARD: New Zealand vs West Indies, Semi-Final 2, ICC Women’s World T20 Cup 2016 at Mumbai

Live Cricket Score, New Zealand Women 137/8 in overs 20, Batting: Katey Martin 11(8): And the West Indies Women have done it here. This is the first time they have reached the final of ICC Women’s World T20. The credit goes to the brilliant innings by Britney Cooper for which she got the Player of the Match but the contribution of the bowlers can not be overlooked as well. But a good fight put up by the New Zealand Women here.

OUT! Erin Bermingham run out 8 (4)

OUT! Leigh Kasperek stumped Merissa Aguilleira b Taylor 6 (6)

Live Cricket Score, New Zealand Women 119/6 in overs 18, Batting: Leigh Kasperek 2(2), Katey Martin 7(4): 3 Overs and things are turned 180 degree. 3 important wickets and it now looks nearly impossible for the West Indies Women to lose it from here. The fielding effort has been terrible but the bowlers have done their job here.

OUT! Katie Perkins c Deandra Dottin b Shaquana Quintyne 2 (3)

OUT! Sara McGlashan c Shemaine Campbelle b Stafanie Taylor 38 (30)

OUT! Amy Satterthwaite c Shemaine Campbelle b Stafanie Taylor 24 (29)

Live Cricket Score, New Zealand Women 101/3 in overs 15, Batting: Amy Satterthwaite 22(26), Sara McGlashan 33(24): The match is going like a roller-coaster now. After a domination from West Indies, New Zealand have managed to build up a good partnership slowly but steadily and they are now going for boundaries and sixes. The match is still open and anyone can win it from here. 100 comes up for New Zealand.

Live Cricket Score, New Zealand Women 81/3 in overs 12, Batting: Amy Satterthwaite 13(15), Sara McGlashan 24(16): WIndies Women in full control of the game, no boundaries since the last three overs and both required runrate and pressure increasing upon the New Zealand batsmen. Just 7 overs left and New Zealand must go all guns blazing in order to aim for a win from here. Just singles but it is a good sign that the New Zealand batsmen are not facing many dots and keeping the scorecard going.

Live Cricket Score, New Zealand Women 64/3 in overs 9, Batting: Amy Satterthwaite 5(16), Sara McGlashan 15(7): Great over by Afy Fletcher, 2 dismissals in an over including a terrific direct hit by Deandra Dottin. Two dangerous players from the White Ferns have departed and now they look in trouble here. The target is huge but New Zealand will have to make a comeback.

OUT! Suzie Bates c Shaquana Quintyne b Afy Fletcher 12 (17)

OUT! Sophie Devine run out 22 (14)

Live Cricket Score, New Zealand Women 42/1 in overs 6, Batting: Sophie Devine 22(13), Suzie Bates 10(13): Dottin starts off with two boundaries and that’s not a very good sign. Comes back with singles off the next few deliveries, going slow helped. Connell with the ball, and a good over by the bowler. Matthews with the ball, and a brilliant effort for caught and bowled there by the bowler. The batsman also knows she just got another life.

Live Cricket Score, New Zealand Women 21/1 in overs 3, Batting: Sophie Devine 9(4), Suzie Bates 3(4): Great start by Connell with a perfect bouncer. Just singles and dots off the first over so far. Beautiful boundary to end the over, through the mid on went Priest. Singles off the next over, good over by Dottin but no success. BOWLED! Connell does it for West Indies, Rachel Priest is gone. Big wicket! FOUR! And the bowler was unlucky there, as it went fine past the keeper.

OUT! Rachel Priest b Shamilia Connell 6(10)

Live Cricket Score, West Indies Women 143/6 in overs 20, Batting: Merissa Aguilleira 15(10):A huge total posted by the WIndies ladies here at Wankhede and the pressure is on the New Zealand Women now. The batsmen have done exceptionally well but the most of it came from Britney Cooper who played a brilliant 61-run knock.

OUT! Shemaine Campbelle run out 0 (0)

OUT! Stacy-Ann King c Amy Satterthwaite b Sophie Devine 4 (5)

OUT! Britney Cooper c Rachel Priest(wk) b Sophie Devine 61 (48)

OUT! Deandra Dottin b Sophie Devine 20 (17)

Live Cricket Score, West Indies Women 100/2 in overs 15, Batting: Deandra Dottin 14(10), Britney Cooper 45(40): Finally the wicket they wanted. Sophie Devine does it for the Kiwi Women and the partnership is broken now. This can turn the match around. The next in, Deandra Dottin is another powerful player of the format and it won’t be easy for the ladies from New Zealand.

OUT! Stafanie Taylor c Perkins b Sophie Devine 25(26)

Live Cricket Score, West Indies Women 63/1 in overs 10, Batting: Stafanie Taylor 22(22), Britney Cooper 25(24): This is great comeback by the WIndies Women. They lost a wicket early on and the two batsmen at the crease took it to a better score. They are ensuring a boundary in every over and that keeps the scorecard going and increases the pressure on the bowler.

Live Cricket Score, West Indies Women 31/1 in overs 5 , Batting: Stafanie Taylor 13(10), Britney Cooper 2(6): Nielsen to continue. Swing and a miss. Almost nicked that. Full length, trying to york? Quick single there.

Live Cricket Score, West Indies Women 28/1 in overs 4 , Batting: Stafanie Taylor 12(8), Britney Cooper 0(2): Good length outside off, cuts it through backward point, fielder at deep gets it, two runs. Short, Mistimed that and it lands short of mid-on. No run. Good, outside off, almost nicked. FOUR! Beautifully sent through the offside. Tahuhu could not end nicely.

Live Cricket Score, West Indies Women 18/1 in overs 3 , Batting: Stafanie Taylor 2(2), Britney Cooper 0(2): Nielson to continue, starts with a single. Flicks the next to square leg, another single. Fullish, straighter, getting flight. Defended with a straight bat. OUT! Nielson got Matthews lbw! Clearly hitting the leg stump, as the hawk eye shows and well pitched. Dot to end it.

OUT! Hayley Matthews lbw Morna Nielson 16(14)

Live Cricket Score, West Indies Women 16/0 in overs 2 , Batting: Stafanie Taylor 1(1), Hayley Matthews 2(2) : Tahuhu into the attack. Good length, cut towards backward point, two runs. Defended with a straight bat. FOUR! First boundary for WIndies, beautifully timed by Matthews as she drives it through point and it races to the ropes. Defended the next. Short length and that was just half an inch wide of the first slip. CHANCE! Played the next to square, single.

Live Cricket Score, West Indies Women 5/0 in overs 1 , Batting: Stafanie Taylor 1(1), Hayley Matthews 2(2) : Nielsen opens bowling. Matthews cuts it through point, two runs. A single off the next. Direct hit, CHANCE OF A RUN OUT but Taylor is well in. Defends the next with a straight bat. Bowls at leg, flicked to square leg, dot. Good length, gets to backfoot, shifts body-weight and a single.
