Good Evening! Hello and Welcome to Cricket Country’s live coverage of 3rd Qualifying Final of the 2016 Pakistan Super League (PSL) between Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi at Dubai on Sunday. This is the third knock-out game of the tournament as the winner of this game will advance to the final of the tournament. This is a crucial game for both the teams as they have toiled really hard in the qualifying matches to get a second chance to enter the final.Both teams have faced each other twice in the league stages, only to see Islamabad United win these matches by emphatic margin both the times over Peshawar Zalmi. Both Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi go into this match having mixed emotion over their confidence, United lost their last match whereas Peshawar are coming in after an emphatic victory. Islamabad restricted Karachi Kings to 111 in 20 overs as Mohammad Sami picked up a brilliant fifer in the process was complimented well by Brad Haddin in the chase, in the 2nd Qualifier match they played. Peshawar on the other hand will look to get the record straight this time and defeat Islalamabad, Zalmi in the 1st qualifying final just missed out by one run. Wahab Riaz final overs heroics fell short as Aizaz Cheema bowled one of the best example of death bowling.
The winner of this match will take on Quetta Gladiators in the final of PSL 2016 on February 23rd at Dubai, give the way the last few matches have been played it is best to say that this will surely be another enthralling match.
