Peshawar Zalmi take on Islamabad United in Match 2 of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2016 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Islamabad United did not get off to a good start in their first match as they lost to Quetta Gladiators comprehensively. It was a low scoring encounter, where United lost by eight wickets and 24 balls to spare. Skipper Misbah-ul-Haq was the star with the bat for them as his 41 helped his side post a respectable total. Andre Russell’s 20-ball 35 too helped them take them past the 100-run mark. United will want to bounce back immediately and get off the mark in the tournament by winning this match. Zalmi have Shahid Afridi leading them in the tournament. They have a pretty strong team with the likes of Wahab Riaz, Kamran Akmal, Mohammad Hafeez, and Chris Jordan present in the team among many other players. Afridi is the captain of the Pakistan T20 International (T20I) team as well and has a wealth of experience. For United, the batting needs to click, else they will find themselves in trouble, like they did on Friday. They need to give their bowlers something to bowl at.

This will be the second match of the evening and therefore dew will once again be a major factor and hence the toss becomes all the more crucial. The team that wins the toss will want to bowl first and chase down the target in the latter stages. United with the experience of batting first will know that it would be wise to chase in these conditions.
