Gladiators are topping the points table with 10 points from six games; they won five of the matches. On the other hand, Zalmi are at the second spot with eight points from as many games. FOUR!! a good over spoiled as Ahmed Shehzad slashes one thorugh the third man region. Shaun Tait has got off to a decent start as compared to his earlier first over scores. Both batsmen will look to negate any swing. Sarfaraz Khan led Quetta Gladiators win the toss and elect to bat first against Peshawar Zalmi. Gladiators have as many as 3 changes.

Sarfraz Ahmed is expected to lead the Gladiators whereas Shahid Afridi will call the shots for Zalmi. There is not much of a difference in the strengths and weaknesses of both the teams. Hence, we can expect a thrilling contest. Both the teams will fight hard for the coveted trophy and would want to make a mark in the first season of the league. Pakistan Super League is one of the many Twenty20 leagues that have sprung up in the last 10 years.

Indian Premier League (IPL) is the most elite league apart from Big Bash League (BBL) and RamSlam. Pakistan is hoping that their domestic cricket league PSL would also become one of the most sought after leagues in the cricketing arena. There shall be three more matches after the 17th game, before we enter into the qualifying final matches. There will be three qualifying final games before the final is played on February 23.
