Kane Williamson smashed an impressive ton as New Zealand triumphed over Pakistan in the fourth international by seven runs to level the five match ODI series 2-2 in a nail-biting finish in Abu Dhabi.

Batsman Williamson amassed a staggering 123 runs off 105 balls, which was further assisted by the Martin Guptil and Dean Brownlie, who scored 58 and 42 runs respectively to help the visitors set an imposing target of 299, Sport24 reported.

Chasing the target, Pakistan fell short of seven runs to finish their innings on 292 for the loss of eight wickets. Younis Khan hit a fighting 103 off 117 balls before being bowled out by Daniel Vettori. Shahid Afridi smashed a quick fire 49 runs off 25 bowls to help the hosts reach near the target.

The final match will be played at Abu Dhabi tomorrow to determine the series winner, reported ANI
