Confident Pakistan clash with the top-ranked Test side South Africa in the second Test match starting on Wednesday at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
South Africa will be eager to win the Test and level the series, while Pakistan would love to continue the winning momentum. The seven-wicket win in the last game was an easy winwhere Pakistan dominated South Africa in all the departments of the game.
South Africa are without the services of Hashim Amla who has gone home awaiting the birth of his first child. Dean Elgar replaces him in the playing XI. Out-of-sorts Robin Peterson has made way for Imran Tahir. Dale Steyn has passed the fitness test in the morning, which is a good news for the South Africans.
Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq won the toss and chose to bat first. Pakistan have fielded an unchanged team.
South Africa have not lost a single Test series away from home for seven years. They would love to maintain that record.
Teams:
Pakistan: Shan Masood, Khurram Manzoor, Azhar Ali, Younis Khan, Misbah-ul-Haq (c), Asad Shafiq, Adnan Akmal (wk), Saeed Ajmal, Zulfiqar Babar, Junaid Khan, Mohammad Irfan.
South Africa: Graeme Smith (c), Alviro Petersen, Dean Elgar, Jacques Kallis, AB de Villiers (wk), Jean-Paul Duminy, Faf du Plessis, Imran Tahir, Vernon Philander, Dale Steyn, Morne Morkel.
