Pakistan and Sri Lanka are playing the first T20 international at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai. Pakistan have won the toss and elected to bat.
Pakistan are just coming off a win in a solitary T20 against Afghanistan. Before that, they had played an ODI series in South Africa and had beaten the hosts 2-1. Ealier, they were involved in a full series against South Africa in the United Arab Emirates.
On the other hand, Sri Lanka played New Zealand at home in a limited overs series.
