The matches that were being played at Delhi, in the form of Gujarat vs Bengal, and Hyderabad vs Tripura, have been called off owing to heavy smog, that has resulted in no play for the opening couple of days, and the BCCI has stated that they would be rescheduling those matches, rather than just abandoning it. Ranji Trophy 2016-17 Points Table & team standings

Also, Mumbai, resuming at an overnight 244 for 5, went on to score 345 courtesy Yadav, who started the day on 60, reports PTI.

Also, Karnataka are leading Vidarbha by 199 runs with 7 wickets in hand at stumps on Day Two of the round 5 of Ranji Trophy 2016-17 which is being played at the Moti Bagh Stadium, Vadodara as they have reached a total of 108 for the loss of wickets at Stumps on Day Two.

Goa and Chhattisgarh engage in a close fight as the teams play on Day Two of Round 5 of Ranji Trophy 2016-17, while Himachal Pradesh, who were 58 for 2 on Day 2 of the Round 5 of Ranji Trophy 2016-17, were bowled out for 370. Also, Service’s batsmen Shamsher Yadav continued his scoring form against Andhra Pradesh on Day 2 of the Ranji Trophy 2016-17,  Round 5 tie.
