We at CricketCountry will be bringing to you the entire happening from the world of social media from Day 2. Day One was a mixed bag for many sides, as quite a teams faltered while others rose to the occasion. Saurashtra, Kerala, Bengal and Vidharba had the best time on opening day of Round 2. Ravindra Jadeja and Sheldon Jackson took top honors on Day one scoring 150* and 181 respectively.

Thanks to Jadeja and Jackson, Saurashtra were in a position of strength against Jammu and Kashmir putting up 428 runs on the board. It was the pair of Nitish Rana and Anuj Rawat for Delhi that helped their side stay alive against Railways. Hyderabad and Uttar Pradesh did not take place due to wet outfield.

Karnataka had a splendid day against Assam, bundling them for 145. In reply, Karnataka were 77 for 0. Rajasthan were 250 for 4 courtesy 103* from Amitkumar Gautam against Jharkhand.

The match between Gujarat and Kerala is hanging in the balance with the former still 148 runs behind with 2 wickets down. Kerala were bundled out for 208 with Piyush Chawla taking a fifer.

For Baroda, the Pathan brother’s did not shine as they were precariously placed at 247 for 7 against Andhra. Mumbai in their first match had a decent time in the middle against Madhya Pradesh. Punjab sadly had a horrible day with the bat, bundling out for 161 against Vidarbha.

Bengal had a good start to their round 2 affair against Chhattisgarh. They are comfortably placed at 283 for 2 with Koushik Ghosh and Abhishek Raman making 114 and 94 respectively.
