Hello and welcome to CricketCountry’s live cricket blog and updates post of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2016 final, between the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). The IPL 9 final, which was supposed to be held in Mumbai, was moved to Bengaluru after a court decision. RCB will be playing in front of their home crowd and it will not be exaggerating to say that they will be the favourites for this clash. The contest tonight will also be an interesting battle between Virat Kohli and David Warner, who have led their teams remarkably and have done extremely well with the bat. Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) entered the IPL 2016 final after defeating the Gujarat Lions (GL) in the Qualifier 1 of the tournament. RCB, who had a timid start to the tournament lacking spite in their bowling, picked up really well, won their last 4 matches on the trot and made it to the IPL 9 Playoffs.
On the other hand, the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are coming off two impressive wins against former champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in Eliminator, and against Gujarat Lions (GL) in the Qualifier 2. They have a terrific squad, which provides them enough room to play around with the combination.
Mustafizur Rahman missed the last match for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) due to a niggle, and he will be expected to be fit for the big final. Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), however, are not expected to fiddle around with their batting line-up.
