Live cricket scores Services 244/3 | Overs 90| Batting: Soumik Chatterjee 135(269), Yashpal Singh 51(98): Services were 244 for the loss of three wickets at stumps on day one. Soumik Chatterjee was batting on 135 with the help of 18 boundaries while Yashpal Singh cracked a fifty. He hit nine boundaries in his knock. Services fans will hope that they go beyond 400-run mark tomorrow. Only Chama Milind bowled well today, otherwise all Hyderabad bowlers didn’t bowl to their standards. Yashpal Singh too is nearing his fifty. Their partnership is now worth 81 runs. Services will be aiming for a score above 400. All the three wickets that fell were picked by Chama Milind. Hyderabad bowlers have not bowled well today except Milind. They need to play with their turn, swing, line & length and pace because they are not getting wickets just by bowling in the right areas.

Good thing for them is that Soumik Chatterjee is still at the crease. He is batting on 82 with the help of 12 boundaries. He richly deserves a century, he has fought hard for it. Currently this fourth wicket partnership has fetched Services seven runs, hence the partnership is still in its infancy. Both are batting slowly at a strike rate of under 30. Hyderabad bowlers are finding it hard to get their team the first breakthrough. Hyderabad have tried five bowlers so far with no success. Ravi Kiran and GH Vihari have been economical but wicketless. Hyderabad desperately needs to break this partnership. What’s good for Services is that the sheen of the new ball is worn out and batting has got easier now since the ball is not swinging much now.
