Pakistan will look to lift their morale when they face a confident South African side in the second Test match at Cape Town on Thursday.
Ahead of the match Pakistan who were bogged down by a number of players falling ill have managed to get their players just in time. However, they’ll miss out on the services of Junaid Khan and Rahat Ali.
The visitors have never won a match at Cape Town yet and South Africa have never lost a Test match at this venue against any team except Australia.
In the previous match, the Proteas pace attack led by Dale Steyn made the Pakistan batsmen look pedestrian as they bowled them out for their lowest ever test score of 49 runs in the first innings.
Teams:
South Africa: Graeme Smith (c), Alviro Petersen, Hashim Amla, Jacques Kallis, AB de Villiers (w), Faf du Plessis, Dean Elgar, Vernon Philander, Robin Peterson, Dale Steyn, Morne Morkel
Pakistan: Mohammad Hafeez, Nasir Jamshed, Azhar Ali, Younis Khan, Misbah-ul-Haq (c), Asad Shafiq, Sarfraz Ahmed (w), Umar Gul, Saeed Ajmal, Tanvir Ahmed, Mohammad Irfan
