TOSS UPDATE: Sri Lanka Women win toss and will bat first

South Africa played a three-match T20 International (T20) against West Indies ahead of the tournament at home and would have hoped to get some good practice ahead of the tournament before they start their campaign against Pakistan at Chennai. Ahead of the T20I series South Africa were in bad shape as they lost an One-Day International (ODI) series against West Indies and also lost a T20I series against England before that. Sri Lanka have not been at their best with their captain going off the World Cup and their skipper stepping down due to injury. This have not been all good for the Sri Lankan team.
