Bangladesh have a task at hand as the face a tough Sri Lankan side in the first Test at Galle on Friday.
The home side just managed to gather its team as they were involved in a tussle with their cricket board over the contract issue. But the Angelo Matthews-led Sri Lankan side will be confident of beating Bangladesh comfortably as they step into this series with many young players.
Sri Lanka have won the toss and will look to pile on a huge score against the visiting side. Bangladesh will have to keep their chin up as they have lost their last eight Tests in against Sri Lanka with none of them going into the fifth day.
Both teams will feature some new players. Mahela Jayawardene will miss the Galle Test due to an injury.
