After Hobart Hurricanes defeated the Melbourne Stars in the first semi-final of the Big Bash League 2014, it is time now for the second semi-final — Perth Scorchers take on the Sydney Sixers at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) on Wednesday.

Perth Scorchers captain, Marcus North has won  the toss and elected to put the opposition to bat first. Both the teams are in red-hot form, and this second semi-final should be a nail-biting encounter.
