Hello and welcome to CricketCountry’s live coverage of Day One of the Group B game between Tamil Nadu and Baroda as we kick off Ranji Trophy 2015-16. This will be one of the most keenly contested opening bouts this year. Both these sides are quite strong and have a lot of experienced cricketers to flavour things up. Tamil Nadu are led by Abhinav Mukund, with Dinesh Karthik being the backbone of the middle order. Baba Aparajith and Baba Indrajith have both shown a lot of potential, as has Vijay Shankar. Meanwhile, though Baroda do not boast of a lot of international experience barring the likes of Yusuf Pathan, they have immense talent in the side.
