Uttar Pradesh are one of the more powerful sides in this year’s Ranji Trophy. Led by Praveen Kumar, they have a lot of talent in Tanmay Srivastava, Sarfaraz Khan, Mohammad Saif, and Almas Shukat with the batting, while their bowling attack of Piyush Chawla, Kuldeep Yadav, Praveen, and Amit Mishra also makes for good viewing. Live cricket score Uttar Pradesh 513/3 | Overs 152 | BATTING: Mohammad Saif 165(252), S N Khan 104(129): Both Saif and Sarfaraz are batting superbly and just at the stroke of Tea, the 19-year-old Khan has notched up his maiden First-Class century. These are ominous signs for Madhya Pradesh. Saif too brought up his ton.
Uttar Pradesh undoubtedly ended Day One of the match on top, reaching 260 for 2 at stumps against Madhya Pradesh at Moradabad. Tanmay Srivastava contributed a 139-ball 75 while Himanshu Asnora made 30. Almas Shaukat (110*) and Mohammad Saif (34*) are the two men who will reume on Day Two. With Sarfaraz Khan and Piyush Chawla still to follow, Uttar Pradesh will feel confident of posting a good total. All eyes will be on young Chinaman Kuldeep Yadav when the time comes for UP To bowl.
