Hello and welcome to CricketCountry’s live coverage of Day 2 of the Group A game of the 2015-16 Ranji Trophy between Vidarbha and Maharashtra , live from Jamtha, Nagpur.Vidarbha started on a bad note with Faiz Fazal getting out early, he added just 10 runs to his over night score of 110.Ravi Jangid and Aditya Sarwate added some resistance but Vidarbha were eventually bundled for 332 in 125 overs. Jangid(40) and Sarwate(33) were the only bright spots for Vidarbha. For Maharashtra Shrikant Mundhe and Anupam Sanklecha picked up 3 wickets a piece. Maharashtra were poor with bad losing wickets one after the another.Swapnil Gugale top scored for Maharashtra making 42 runs hitting 4 boundaries in the process. Kedar Jadhav turned out to be a no show making only 8 before getting out to Ravikumar Thakur. Thakur picked up 2 wickets for just 22 runs in his 14 overs, Shrikant Wagh also chipped in 2 wickets.After a good show with the bat Sarwate pick up one wicket in his 9 overs. Maharashtra still trail Vidarbha by 188 runs.
