Hello and welcome to CricketCountry’s live coverage of Vijay Hazare Trophy’s Round 4 matches. The fixtures lined-up for today involve Andhra vs Odisha, Assam vs Hyderabad, Baroda vs Maharashtra, Gujarat vs Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir vs Railways, Punjab vs Rajasthan and Tripura vs Vidarbha. The Indian big names who will be in action on Tuesday are Yuvraj Singh who will lead Punjab, Parvez Rasool (J&K), Ambati Rayudu (Baroda), Natraj Behera (Odisha), Pankaj Singh (Rajasthan) and Hanuma Hihari (Hyderabad) . Live Cricket Score, Andhra vs Odisha, Odisha 204 in overs 32 | Target 262 | Batting: Ansuman Gope 19(37): OUT! Subham Nayak c Jyothisaikrishna b Ayyappa Bandaru And Andhra win by 55 runs. The Andhra batsmen had posted a good score of 261, A G Pradeep being the highest scorer with his 123-ball 102 and the bowlers also did well as Siva Kumar took 4 wickets giving only 37 runs. Andhra picked up a well deserved victory.

Krishna Das c Sumanth Kolla b Tanmay Agarwal Hyderabad win by 72 runs. 271 was a tough score to chase and Assam failed to chase it. Tanmay Agarwal’s 83 and skipper Hanuma Vihari’s 51 helped immensely in the victory while bowler Ravi Kiran helped with his 3 for 30.

The partnership between Waghmode and Hooda was enough for Baroda to achieve triumph over the Maharashtra team. The target was low and Maharashtra bowlers failed to make any impact and Baroda won the contest quite comfortably.

A good total by the Gujarat team and the Haryana team failed to handle the pressure and wen on losing wickets. R H Bhatt’s 55 and Parthiv Patel’s 45 powered the Gujarat team while R B Kalaria emerged as their best bowler as he took 4 for 37.
Live Cricket Score, Punjab vs Rajasthan, Punjab 273/4 in overs 42 | Target 271 | Batting: Yuvraj Singh 78(59), Mayank Siddana 24(27): A comfortable win for Punjab. Almost all the Punjab batsmen did well while chasing a good score of 271 put up by Rajasthan. Jiwanjot Singh, Mandeep Singh and Yuraj Singh all hit their individual half centuries and Punjab won with 5 overs still remaining.

Amit Sinha c&b Hanuma Vihari 34(45) Assam batsmen need to protect their wicket as they are losing wickets frequently and only Pallav Kumar Das has pulled off an impactful performance.

The total was really low and the bowlers were expected to take wickets frequently to make it difficult for the Baroda batsmen but that did not happen. Both Waghmode and Hooda score their individual half centuries and are guiding the team to the win.

They have already lost 5 wickets and need to hit hard and score more in order to get to the required run rate.

Umar Nazir c&b Karn Sharma 3(14) And it is over for Jammu and Kashmir. Railways win it by 43 runs. The best performer with the bat for them has been Karn Sharma today with his 60 off 71 while Ashish Yadav excelled with the ball taking 3 for 28.

Gurkeerat Mann lbw S S Dobal 8(10) 25 Needed off the last 8 overs and the task is not at all impossible. Yuvraj Singh has been in terrific form and if he stays there till the end, he can himself make his side win. Another batsman in is Mayank Siddana who also has displayed some good batting so far in the series.

They have dominated over Tripura throughout the match and the game sees a predictable end. The credit goes to J M Sharma and Ganesh Satish for their stupendous performance with the bat. The bowlers also did well, A A Wakhare being the best amongst them with his 3 for 29.

Both batsmen went back for duck but Anurag Sarangi and Natraj Behera have managed to build up a brief partnership which they need to continue with.

Rajdeep Das lbw C V Milind 15 (19) Two wickets down for Assam but they are still going steady. The runs on board look good. Pallav Kumar Das is close to his half century. Hyderabad need wickets now.

Pargat Singh c&b R B Bishnoi Jr 25(36) The target looked quite challenging but now the partnership between Jiwanjot Singh and Mandeep Singh is making things easy. If they manage no to lose wicket, they can easily snatch the victory from Rajasthan. There is still a lot of batting left for Punjab.

They are also taking a lot of time to start playing comfortably which is not going to help the situation. Vidarbha are fully dominating the Tripura side.

Jyothisaikrishna lbw Biplab Samantaray 72(57) The start for Andhra has not been very remarkable but they came back strong and have posted a good total of 261. Going past 250 gives a emotional boost automatically. Jyothisaikrishna scored 72 off 57 and A G Pradeep remained unbeaten at 102.

B Sandeep ct K B Arun Karthick b Jogeswar Bhumiz Hyderabad put Assam to chase 271. A team effort helped the Hyderabad side to get to a challenging score. Major contributions came from Tanmay Agarwal ( 83 off 77) and skipper Hanuma Vihari ( 51 off 67). Now the bowlers will have to do their bit in order to guide their team to a win.

Tanweer Ul Haq ct Mandeep Singh b Barinder Singh Sran M N Singh plays a superb knock of 118 off 129 that helps his team go past 250. 270 is a very good score and Rajasthan bowlers have a lo of runs to defend but Punjab has a good batting line up and they will try to continue their winning streak as they haven’t lost a single match so far.

Umesh Yadav ct S M Singha b Rana Datta 18(6) Vidarbha has poted a huge total for Tripura to chase, courtesy Ganesh Satish and J M Sharma. Satish remained unbeaten at 134 and Sharma scored 105. Tripura will have to start hitting hard and take lesser time to settle down.

They are in a very good position as far as runs are concerned.

Cheluvaraj ct Ian Chauhan b Asif Rasool 17(40) 3 wickets down but the Railways still have batting left. Arindam Ghosh is out there and he can score good runs once he gets going. The J&K bowlers need a few more wickets to get domination over the opponents.

P I Sharma run out Jiwanjot Singh 36(55) Rajasthan have lost a single wicket so far and are playing exceptionally well. Dismissed P I Sharma contributed 36 runs while the two batsmen at the crease currently are on their way to build a strong partnership. Punjab need wickets to avoid a huge score to chase.

Faiz Fazal lbw Rana Datta 12(25) 1 wicket gone within 15 overs but Vidarbha don’t look that much in trouble. J M Sharma looks confident with his 39 ball 34 and is ready to spend more time at the crease and give his team a good boost of runs.
Talking of the teams; in Group A, Punjab is at third position with eight points while Rajasthan is two places down at fifth. It has four points from two games. Hyderabad is at sixth while Assam is stranded at the bottom of the group. They are yet to open their account in points table. In Group B, Haryana (eight points), Gujarat (eight points), Railways (four points) and Jammu & Kashmir (no point) are at the bottom of the group in ascending order i.e. Haryana is at fourth position while J&K are at seventh spot (last in their group). Maharashtra are table-toppers in Group C with 12 points. It has won all the three matches it has played in the tournament. Baroda is at third position. It has eight points from four matches winning and losing two each. Vidarbha (eight points from three games) is at fourth spot in Group C followed by Andhra (four points), Odisha (four points) and Tripura (yet to win a match and gain points).
