Hello and welcome to CricketCountry’s live coverage of Vijay Hazare Trophy 2015-16 match between Delhi and Maharashtra at Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium, New Delhi.Delhi cruised a eight-wicket win against Tripura in their previous match after they managed to bowl Tripura out for just 100. Pawan Suyal was outstanding with the ball for Delhi as he finished with 3 for 14 in his 10 overs. Barring the openers, the batting did not disappoint much Nitish Rana finished with an unbeaten 67 to ensure that there were no further hiccups. Maharashtra, on the other hand were handed an eight-wicket thrashing of their won as they were beaten by Baroda. Only Harshad Khadiwale, Rahul Tripathi and Kedar Jhadav managed to reach double digits for Maharashtra as they finished at 176 for 9 in their 50 overs.  Vijay Hazare 2015-16: Full coverage here

Maharashtra did manage to pick up a couple of early wickets, but since they did not have enough runs on the board, they could not pose much threat. Delhi and Maharashtra are tied at 12 points apiece in the Group C table that has Vidarbha on top of the table with 12 points as well. In fact, the the top four consists of team, who are on 12 points. A win for either Maharashtra or Delhi will perhaps take them to the top of the table, depending on other results.

Delhi have a superb team, but have struggled for most parts, but will look to win the last two games of the group stages convincingly and sail to the knockout stage. Maharashtra will be no pushovers as they will come all guns blazing into this match against Delhi.
