I’m Kaustubh Mayekar and I’ll be bringing you all the updates regarding the match. It is a dead rubber game as West Indies have already progressed for the semi-final, while Afghanistan will only play for pride and will aim to bow out of World T20 with a win.  West Indies, along with New Zealand from Group 2, are unbeaten in this T20 World Cup. They started of their campaign by chasing down 183 against England, thanks to an unbeaten century by Chris Gayle. In their second game, they comfortably chased down the target of 123 against Sri Lanka. The pitch is on the slower side. West Indian pacers bowled a lot of slower ones. Afghanistan batsmen found it difficult to find their feet right from the word go. West Indies have already qualified for the semis. They have nothing to lose. However, they will look to continue the winning momentum and try to chase it comfortably. On the other hand, it’s an inconsequential match for Afghanistan. But they will try hard to defend 124 runs against a batting heavy team like West Indies. Undoubtedly, it will be an uphill task for the Afghanistan bowlers, but I’m sure they will leave no stone unturned to end the T20I campaign on a winning note.
