Australia cleaned up West Indies for 160 in their allotted 20 overs against Australia in the second T20 match at Barbados on Friday.
Openers justified captain Darren Sammy’s call of batting after winning the toss with a fluent partnership of 72 runs in mere six overs at the rate of 10 runs-per over.
The opening stand came to an end after Shane Watson had Johnson Charles dismissed for 37.
Kieron Pollard, who was promoted up the order failed to fire as he fell for one run.
Dwayne Bravo and Smith tried to steady the Innings but once the latter departed, West Indies suffered a mini collapse.
Australian bowlers put on an impressive comeback as they kept on taking wicket at regular intervals.
West Indies batsman failed to put on a partnership as Clint McKay and Dan Christian troubled the home batsman.
Brett Lee, McKay and Watson took two wickets apiece.
