Bangladesh and UAE will lock horns in the third match of Asia Cup 2016 on Friday. The venue is Shere Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur. This is the first time that Asia Cup is following a Twenty20 international (T20I) format. Both, Bangladesh and UAE are not strong teams in the tournament but they would want to perform well and impress the fans. Bangladesh is a good team in limted-overs cricket. Hence, they enforcing an upset in the tourney cannot be ruled out. UAE has also been very impressive. They gave the defending champions Sri Lanka a good fight in the last match. UAE had performed well in the qualifiers as well. Live Cricket Scorecard: Bangladesh vs UAE, Asia Cup T20 2016, 3rd T20I at Mirpur

Mashrafe Mortaza will lead Bangladesh while Amjad Javed will call the shots for UAE. Mushfiqur Rahim and Swapnil Patil will keep wickets for Bangladesh and UAE respectively. Javed bowled well in the last match against the Lankans as he took a three-wicket-haul with his medium pace bowling. If UAE wishes to win this match against Bangladesh, they need to play well in all the three departments of the game, not just bowling. They bowled well against the Lankans but their batters failed them. Bangladesh, on the other hand lost their first match played against India by 45 runs. They would want to win their second game against a relatively weaker side.  However, considering UAE’s current form it is not prudent to take them lightly. Bangladesh would want to give them a tough fight and stage a comeback in the tournament.
