Hello and Welcome to the live blog session of Qualifier 1 of the 2017 Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) play-offs between Comilla Victorians and Dhaka Dynamites at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka on Friday. Both the teams managed to finish at the top two spots of the league table, respectively. While the Dynamites were tied on 15 points along with Khulna Titans, the previous progressed on a better net run-rate. Meanwhile, Rangpur Riders beat the Titans in the Eliminator, progressing to the Qualifier 2, and the winner between the Victorians and the Dynamites would be facing the Titans.
The Victorians are being led by veteran Tamim Iqbal, while it has big names like Liton Das, Imrul Kayes, Mohammad Saifuddin, Mahedi Hasan, Al-Amin Hossain, Arafat Sunny, Enamul Haque as the local lads, while the overseas players range from Marlon Samuels to Shoaib Malik, Hasan Ali, Graeme Cremer, Darren Bravo, and many more. As for the Dynamites, the team is led by their star all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan, along with Mosaddek Hossain, while it has tons of overseas talent, ranging from Sunil Narine, Evin Lewis, Kieron Pollard, Mohammad Aamer, and many more. Therefore, it is surely going to be an interesting tie.
