Hello and welcome to CricketCountry’s live coverage of Day two of the Group B game of the 2015-16 Ranji Trophy between Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh, live from Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai. Batting first, Andhra made 203 in their first innings with the help of middle-order batsman AG Pradeep’s brilliant 78 and opener KS Bharat’s 56. But besides them no other Andhra batsman was able to make a half century which resulted in Andhra’s batting to fold on a paltry 203. DT Chandrashekhar took four wickets while Malolan Rangarajan chipped in with three scalps. Tamil Nadu batted for just one over before the umpire signaled end of first day’s play. Tamil Nadu did not lose any wicket, neither did they get off the mark in the only over they faced yesterday. Match is tilted in Tamil Nadu’s favour as of now having bowled out Andhra for a paltry score of 203 but Tamil Nadu should make sure that they do not get lose today and post a good total in their first innings and hence take a healthy lead over Andhra. This will put pressure on Andhra when it comes to bat in its second innings.Complete coverage of Ranji Trophy 2015-16
