Hello and welcome to CricketCountry’s live coverage of Euro 2016′s Group B match between England and Slovakia at the Stade Geoffroy Guichard, Saint-Etienne in France. I am Arun Rawal and I will bring you all the updates from this match. As we are proceeding into third round of fixtures in Group stages, the race to qualify for the knockouts becomes intense. England will be looking to seal a spot after winning against Slovakia. They won their previous match against Wales by 2-1 and tied the one before that against Russia by 1-1 which created a lot of controversy with fans choosing violence after the draw. 90+5 mins: Kozacik jumps in the air and gets hold of the cross ruling out the possibility of any drama towards the end of the match. Defenders applaud their goalkeeper as referee blows the whistle. England fail to score a goal today.

88 mins: Slovakia are high on luck today as they are somehow surviving each and every attack from England. Nothing is going past the Slovakia goalkeeper tonight.

82 mins: Slovakia survive another scare as nothing seems to be going England’s way. Rooney beats the defenders and gets the ball away from them to take a shot but fails to beat the goalkeeper. Frustration for England.

78 mins: Kane comes in for Sturridge! It was clearly a bad day for the striker. This was supposed to be going England’s way but now the game is heading for a draw.
74 mins: Oh Strurridge! How can you miss that one? He failed to convert that one into a goal. It only needed a touch from the striker and England would have taken a lead.
71 mins: Slovakia are clearly playing this match for a draw.England players look frustrated now looking for one opportunity to get the breakthrough.
69 mins: Gyomber comes in for Pecovsky.
66 mins: Still no goal in this match. England have had a considerable amount of possession but failed to extract a chance out of there.
62 mins: Henderson is trying hard to get his team forward and score a goal. Slovakia too are looking to attack now unlike most parts of the first half.
55 mins: Wayne Rooney substitutes Wilshere, Svento comes in for Duda, Alli replaces Lallana.
54 mins: Slovakia missed a sure-shot chance there. Smalling makes a mess as he passes the ball back to the goalkeeper where Mak tries to score a goal from the opportunity but doesn’t get enough on the ball. Slovakia almost pull off an upset.
52 mins: Ryan Bertand gets a yellow card!
50 mins: Still no goal! England have had a fair share of possession but have failed to convert chances into goals and at some instances denied goal due to good defending from Slovakia.
46 mins: The second half goes underway! Maybe we can witness a goal in this half!
45+1 mins: One minute of added time did not prove fruitful for any of the teams. Although, Slovakia survived a scare at the end of the First half with Henderson’s impressive shot only to be defended by Durica.
44 mins: England in a desperate need of goal as Henderson takes the shot but Durica flies in the air to get body on the ball and deflect it off. Slovakia have shown some character in the game so far.
40 mins: England defence aren’t providing any space for Slovakia to work the ball into spaces. They are finding it difficult to keep the possession of the ball and attack.
36 mins: England try to get forward but Sturridge finds himself offside. Slovakia take this opportunity to regroup and take the ball forward.
34 mins: What a save! Clyne looking to attack but it was short=lived by a wonderful attack from the goalkeeper.
32 mins: England are starting to attack the ball now taking the charge. Slovakia are looking a bit shaky now. Brace yourselves for a goal.
28 mins: Injuries seem to have had a hit on the flow of match here. Slovakia are happy in retaining possession of the ball whereas England are trying to attack and search for a goal.
24 mins: Slovakia concede a yellow card as Pecovsky slides into the back of Vardy in order to cut short England’s counter attack. The referee sees it and gives him a yellow card.
21 mins: Cahill goes down as clouds of injury hover over the match. He is in urgent need of medical attention. It’s a surprise that referee did not produce a Yellow card for this offence.
19 mins: Meanwhile Wales have taken the lead against Russia as the score reads 2-0. Can we see a goal here too?
17 mins: Another chance there as Henderson provides a beautiful delivery to Vardy.The Leicester striker takes his shot but is second by goalkeepers’s brilliance who saves it from the danger.
15 mins: Another chance for Slovakia as Hamsik takes on England’s defenders but runs short of partners as he guides the ball to the far post but no one is there to attack the ball.
13 mins: Slovakia have been hesitant in sending their players forward and take the attack on England. They are happy to keep the ball in their possession as long as they don’t concede a goal.
9 mins: England players moving forward. A cross comes in and Vardy flicks it to the near post where Sturridge tries to net the ball in the goal but fails. This was a tough one as Slovakia survives.
7 mins: Slovakia showed first signs of aggression today as they take the ball forward. The attempt was not enough to convert it into a goal. The score still level at 0-0.
5 mins: A chance for Vardy as England start to build pressure but goes well off target. England have been dominating the play so far, determined to win this game.
3 mins: Both the teams have been rather sloppy in passing the ball and in the process losing it to the opposition. England haven’t posted any threat to Slovakia so far.
1 mins: Kick off! England and Slovakia to fight it out on the field!
