India Women vs England Women, 3rd T20I Highlight, County Ground, Bristol: Amy Jones-led England team manages to bounce back in the third T20I in a really dominant fashion after falling short in the second T20I and winning the three-match series by 2-1. A complete all-around performance both with bat and ball lead to this dominant series takeover.

Sophie Ecclestone, Sara Glenn and Bryony Smith led the English bowling attack and decimated the Indian batting. Richa Ghosh and Pooja Vastrakar’s knocks did allow Team India to reach a fighting total of 122 runs, when even reaching 100 on the scorecard looked hard.

However, the 70 runs opening stand from the English openers never allowed India to make a comeback. India did grab three quick intervals but that was it.

Alice Caspey’s finishing cameo and steady approach lead the host to victory. England’s sharp fielding would be the unsung hero of this dominant win as it allowed England to build constant pressure on Indian batters and limit them to a low score.

Sophie Ecclestone was awarded with player of the match for her match winning spell of 3 wickets in four overs for just 25 runs and Sophia Dunkley received the player of the series for her outstanding performance with bat throughout the three matches.
