Indian blowers struck two vital blows to slow the West Indies progress on day one of the first Test at the Feroz Shah Kotla stadium on Sunday.

 

Opting to bat first after winning the toss, West Indies reached 69 for two at lunch.

 

The team from Caribbean got off to a steady start on flat pitch.

 

Just when the openers look settled, Pragyan Ojha struck to dismiss Kieran Powell.

 

The left-arm spinner struck once again to send back Kirk Edwards.

 

Darren Bravo was batting on 10, while Kraigg Brathwaite was unbeaten on 29.
