The second day’s play was lit up by Sarfraz Ahmed’s blistering 80-ball century which was the fourth fastest by a Pakistan player. His knock followed by contributions from middle-order took Pakistan’s to a respectable score. However, Pakistan can’t relax as they have a record of losing even after posing 450+ in their first innings with the recent being at Galle against Sri Lanka.
Australian openers Chris Rogers and David Warner showed good technique against spin to remain unbeaten till stumps. Australia are 341 runs behind.
