The Celibrity Cricket League (CCL) started on January 10 at Mumbai where Mumbai Heroes took on Veer Marathi, where the Mumbai Heroes snatched victory in the very last over of the match and it was followed by a match between Karnataka Bulldozers and Bhojpuri dabanggs, which was won easily by the Bulldozers. The action then shifted to Hyderabad where the next where Chennai Rhinos, Kerala Strikers, Telugu Warriors and Bengal Tigers played their respective games. Courtesy of their victories, Telugu warriors and Chennai Rhinos are currently leading group A and group b respectively.

CCl is a non-professional league, which is contested between eight team consisting of prominent film personalities from the regional film industry. Having started in 2011, it has attracted a large number of viewership.
