India will take on New Zealand in the third One-Day International (ODI) of the five-match series at the Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) Stadium in Mohali on Sunday. The series is interestingly poised at 1-1 at the moment and both the teams have plenty to play in the series. The first game of the series, played at the picturesque location of Dharamsala, saw hosts India get across the line quite comfortably. The second match at the capital city Delhi though was a cliff-hanger and went down to the wire, with New Zealand winning it by six runs and registering their first win on the tour in the process. Full Cricket Scorecard, India vs New Zealand, 3rd ODI.
The third game will see the two teams play at the PCA Stadium at Mohali, where the wicket is best known for having a good cover of grass traditionally. It has a nice carry and decent bounce, which is expected to help the seamers. The dew, as always, is going to play its part with the winter already beginning in the northern parts of the country. India, keeping the same in mind, have once again won the toss and opted to field first. There’s no change, as expected, in India’s XI while New Zealand have made a solitary change in bringing in Jimmy Neesham in place of Anton Devcich.
With the start of this third ODI, we present to you with the pick of the tweets from the micro-blogging site.
