India will take on New Zealand in the fifth and final One-Day International (ODI) of the five-match series at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam on Saturday. It’s the same ground where Indian captain MS Dhoni scored his maiden hundred by scoring 148 against Pakistan in 2005. So far, India have played five ODIs and have won four out of them at this venue. Both India and New Zealand are at same position in this series 2-2 but home advantage will surely come into act. The first game of the series, played at the picturesque location of Dharamsala, saw hosts India get across the line quite comfortably. Full Cricket Scorecard, India vs New Zealand, 5th ODI.
The second match at the capital city Delhi though was a cliff-hanger and went down to the wire, with New Zealand winning it by six runs and registering their first win on the tour in the process. The third ODI was quite interesting one as India won it by seven wickets and it was very well architect by captain Dhoni, by coming up in the batting order and Virat Kohli as well. The fourth game at at Ranchi, where India lost by 19 runs while chasing 260. Currently, toss has happen and India have won it and elected to bat first. Jayant Yadav has been given his debut ODI cap and Jasprit Bumrah is back in the side.
With the start of this fifth ODI, we present to you with the pick of the tweets from the micro-blogging site.
