Lonwabo Tsotsobe moves up in ICC ODI rankings

South African pacer Lonwabo Tsotsobe has moved up in International Cricket Council’s (ICC) rankings for One-Day Internationals (ODIs) following a stellar performance against Sri Lanka in the recently-concluded series.

South African pacer Lonwabo Tsotsobe has moved up in International Cricket Council’s (ICC) rankings for One-Day Internationals (ODIs) following a stellar performance against Sri Lanka in the recently-concluded series.

 

Tsotsobe claimed 11 wickets in the series with an average of under 19 runs. 

 

Owing to this performance he has moved up in ICC rankings by ten places to number three behind Pakistan’s spin pair of Saeed Ajmal and Mohammad Hafeez.

 

Tsotsobe is now South Africa’s highest-ranked bowler in the Reliance ICC Player Rankings for ODI bowlers.
