“My greetings to people across the country. This is a historic day, and Lord Ram belongs to everyone.” – Harbhajan Singh

Taking exception to the Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) stand on attending the consecration ceremony of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, party MP and former cricketer Harbhajan Singh said Saturday that he would attend the event on January 22 and did not care “if others choose not to attend it”.

“I will go, no matter who wants to or not. It does not matter if the Congress wants to go or not but I will certainly go,” Harbhajan Singh, a Rajya Sabha MP, told ANI. He added that he was taking this stand as an individual who believes in God and if anyone had a problem, they could do whatever they wanted.
