Bhopal Division Cricket Association (BDCA) on Saturday felicitated 59 cricket personalities of the city, including international player J P Yadav.
BDCA president Dhruv Narayan Singh and chairman Arif Aqueel presented mementos in memory of late Dr Shafqat Mohammad Khan to the players at a function organised on Saturday evening. The move was aimed at boosting the morale of players, BDCA Secretary Farhan Ansari said on Sunday.
Apart from Yadav, 40 cricketers, including five women players who represented Madhya Pradesh in various tournaments, 16 coaches and two life-time members of Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association Javed Ansari and Hamidullah Khan Mamu, were also honoured on the occasion, he said.(PTI)
