Sri Lanka pacer Lasith Malinga and opener Upul Tharanga are likely to be included in the squad for the five-match One-Day International series against Australia starting August 10.
Malinga, who missed the two Twenty20 internationals against Australia due to a back injury, has declared himself fit.
“I feel that I am fit and ready for the five ODIs that are coming up. I will play in all the games if I am picked, and I am ready for it,” Malinga was quoted by the Sunday Times in Sri Lanka.
Also, opening batsman Tharanga, who was handed a three-month ban from all forms of cricket by the International Cricket Council (ICC) after testing positive in a drug test, will be available for selection.
His suspension ends on August 9 and he is being considered for the first ODI in Kandy.
