The Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) on Wednesday felicitated Manoj Tiwary, Ashok Dinda, Anustup Majumdar and Sami Ahmed during the Independence Day function at the Eden Gardens.
Tiwary and Dinda, who could not attend the state’s annual function due to national commitments, were also given Rs 2 lakh each for Bengal and East Zone’s triumph in the Vijay Hazare Trophy and Duleep Trophy respectively.
Tiwary and Dinda, have been picked for India’s T20 squad in the New Zealand series and the ICC World Twenty20, while Majumdar and Ahmed will represent India A in the tour to New Zealand during September-October. (PTI)
