Marlon Samuels slams 7th Test century in West Indies vs England 2nd Test at Grenada

Marlon Samuels scores his seventh century for West Indies in the second Test against England at Grenada. Samuels made very slow start to his innings when he came out to bat at No.5 in a tricky position. He has carried on and now has gotten West Indies in a much better position. He put on a good partnership with Jermaine Blackwood for the fourth wicket and is now building a solid partnership with his skipper Denesh Ramdin. England were very much on top till this point and now Samuels looks good at the crease and looks to pile more misery on the England bowlers. Samuels in the last 10-15 overs or so has become more and more aggressive and has England on the back foot. West Indies still have Jason Holder to follow. Holder scored a match-winning ton in the first Test. Samuels and Ramdin will ant to make sure that they don’t leave it to the lower orde to get West Indies to a good score. England had earlier won the toss on a rain-curtailed day and decided to bowl first. They managed to get some quick wickets and have been more or less right on top throughout the day. Moeen Ali comes in place of James Tredwell for this match. Devendra Bishoo and Sheldon Gabriel make way for Jerome Taylor and Suliemann Benn in the West Indies line-up.
