Martin Guptill smashes fifty to take New Zealand to 139/8 against England

New Zealand opener Martin Guptill helped the hosts cruise to a respectable total of 139 for the loss of eight wickets against England in the third Twenty20 International at Wellington on Friday.

New Zealand opener Martin Guptill helped the hosts cruise to a respectable total of 139 for the loss of eight wickets against England in the third Twenty20 International at Wellington on Friday.
 
Guptill hit two fours and one six, scoring 59 runs from 55 balls. He was dismissed by Stuart Broad in the 18th over of the match, when Broad caught and bowled the batsman.
 
Skipper Brendon McCullum scored 26 from 20 balls before he was dismissed by James Tredwell.
 
Broad was pick of the bowlers for England as he picked up three wickets. Jade Dernbach finished with figures of 3 for 36, picking up the last wicket of James Franklin.
 
Earlier, England won the toss and elected to field against New Zealand.
