Jasprit Bumrah’s participation in Champions Trophy 2025 was being gatekept by fans all over the world. However, a bad news for everyone has come in, as Bumrah has not been able to recover from his back injury, and hence has been removed from Indian squad for ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
The Sports and Medical Sciences team of the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru have left the responsibility of deciding the selection of Bumrah to chief selector Ajit Agarkar. Now, selectors have shared the information that Bumrah will not be a part of the Champions Trophy 2025.

Indian team has faced a massive blow due to Bumrah not being in the squad. The bowlers of the team were strongest side of the Indian team. In such a situation, the team will strongly miss the absence of the superstar pacer. Till the announcement, fans had high hope that Bumrah would recover from the injury before Champions Trophy. However, it did not happen and Bumrah got ruled out.
