Matthew Elliott, Paras Khadka to feature in 63-over Phillip Hughes Memorial match

The Phillip Hughes Memorial match is scheduled to take place at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground in Kathmandu on Saturday. The match, organised by the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) in association with Cricket Australia (CA), is scheduled to be a 63-over affair, in remembrance of the late Australian cricketers Phillip Hughes (63 not out in his final innings) and Richie Benaud (played 63 Tests).
The two participating teams, Team Blue, and Team Red, will comprise of Australian and Nepali players on each side and will be led by Binod Das (Blue) and Ryan Carters (Red) respectively. Each team will get to play 31.3 overs. Among some of the well-known players are former Australia international Matthew Elliott (21 Tests), as well as star player Paras Khadka.
