It is nothing new to find sports athlete date or even marry sports anchors, but in India it is still a rare case. Sara Carbonero and Iker Casillasare are one of the most famous pair, but as far as India is concerned, it is the player-anchor duo of Stuart Binny and Mayanti Langer who are often been talked about. Binny, who hails from Karnataka, has played international cricket for India, while Mayanti is a renounced sports anchor.

The pair tied knot back in 2013. Since then, they have been riddled, loved and appreciated over social media. Celebrating their anniversary, Binny shared a post on Instagram with wife Mayanti. Both were present during Karnataka Premier League clash between Belagavi Panthers and Belagavi Panther.

Binny struck a blistering knock of 87 from 46 balls. Mayanti then interviewed him during the innings break, first time ever during live broadcast. Binny stated that it is a special day, while Mayanti controlled her emotions and carried on the interview with much professionalism.

 

Binny stared well with the ball as well, picking 2 wickets and inflicted a run out to guide his team Panthers to victory.
