MCC vs RoW: Brian Lara walks out to bat after Sachin Tendulkar dazzles

Tendulkar was earlier dismissed for 44.

After the fall of the wicket of Sachin Tendulkar, Brian Lara has walked out to bat for the Marylebone Cricket Club against the Rest of the World XI. Tendulkar was dismissed in the 17th over when he was bowled by Muttiah Muralitharan. After that Lara walked out and has played a couple of good shots.

Though Tendulkar was the centre of all the attention early on, but Aaron Finch is the one who has put the MCC team on course to a victory against RoW. Chasing 294, they have sped to 141 for one in 23 overs. Earlier, Yuvraj Singh’s 132 took RoW to 294. Warne was ruled out of the second half of the game as he injured his hand during the RoW innings.
