Sachin Tendulkar has been dismissed for 44 in the Marylebone Cricket Club-Rest of the World XI contest. He was bowled by Muttiah Muralitharan in the 17th over. Chasing 294, RoW are 107 for one. Upon getting out, Tendulkar was given a warm reception by the crowd and he was also given a standing ovation. It was a good innings by Tendulkar as he essayed some great shots during his stay in the middle.
Tendulkar’s dismissal disappointed many but even more disappointing was the fact that Warne could not play a part. Tendulkar leaves Lord’s with happy memories as he played a very good knock. Aaron Finch has been in good form and is leading the innings. Brian lara has walked out to bat. In 17 overs, MCC are 107 for one.
